Welcome to Commons Comedy! Once COVID is over, this site will be used to organize live comedy events in the common spaces of London. Comedians are hurting because of the pandemic and these events will provide comedians with an opportunity to build an audience without the overhead costs of a comedy club.
Who am I?
Aspiring Comedian, Lover of the Craft
I'm Maggie Sims. I have always loved comedy, but it wasn't until recently that I wanted to try my hand at it. As someone who doesn't have much experience in the business, I am using this site to organize events that can help give me experience in front of live audiences. I also want to use it to give back to the many comedians who are suffering financially because of the pandemic. This is their platform as much as mine. If you are a comedian, please reach out!
